Reflection Series is a public program that invites visitors to slow down, look closely, and experience contemporary art through intimate sessions in the galleries.
EP 4: On Montien Boonma — Sensing the Invisible
Join Wannita Makaroon, Collection Manager, and Tam Laovichaya, Associate Conservator, for a gallery talk centered on Water, 1991 by Montien Boonma, currently on view in (In)visible Presence.
Through close observation and discussion, participants are invited to explore how scent, memory, trace, and material transformation can evoke forms of presence beyond what is immediately visible. The session offers an opportunity to reflect on how Montien Boonma’s work engages the senses and invites us to perceive what cannot always be seen.
